Course content: This course includes in-depth training on designing studies and ethical issues.    

Course objectives:
By the end of the course, the delegate will be able to do the following:

  1. Design his or her research study
  2. Identify the methodological issues in the study and ways to overcome potential problems.
  3. Interpretation of the research findings and understanding the significance of the study results.
  4. Improve their presentation skills.

Delegate-faculty interaction: Delegates will be requested to present briefly about their study and the faculty will guide the delegate in improving the study design, handling the methodological issues, analyzing the data and understanding the research findings.

Pre-requisites for delegates: In order to take this course you will need to be involved in some research studies and be able to present the same briefly before the faculty. Students and researchers who have some knowledge about epidemiolgoy and bio-statistics are preferred.

Registration fees for delegates: Rs.250/-. Remit the fees as Demand Draft drawn in favour of “MADRAS DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION”, payable at Chennai.
