ADVANCED TECHNIQUES IN GENOMICS

A workshop on the advanced techniques in genomics will be held from February 6h to 9th, 2018 by Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, under the aegis of ICMR.  This workshop is aimed at training and capacity building of researchers in advanced techniques in genomics of type 2 diabetes such as Direct sequencing, MassARRAY, Microarray Genotyping, Functional genomics and statistical analysis. The workshop also includes a series of lectures by eminent scientists.  Curriculum Vitae and a one page write up on the research interests and why this workshop could be helpful for the candidate’s research should be enclosed along with the application form.  

Last date for receiving applications – January 19, 2018
Participants are requested to make their own travel and accomodation arrangements.

Registration Fee: Rs. 1000/- for Students; Rs. 1500/- for Scientists
Selected candidates would be intimated through e mail after which the DD can be sent by post.
